Synopsis
Synopsis: Game designer Yu Huan woke up to find herself transported from her peaceful, nature-filled hometown to the chaotic, heavily polluted Rainbow Ruin World.
Outside the window, skyscrapers stood like forests while neon signs flashed blinding lights. Overhead, suspended rail tracks twisted like serpents.
This world bore no resemblance to her ocean-of-green-forests hometown, highlighting the stark contrast and raising questions about her journey.
Yu Huan pinched herself.
No pain.
Had she agreed to beta-test another new game for someone?
Well, since she’s already here—let the testing begin!
After experiencing events like Refusing Work Leads to Prison, Killing Assassins Extends Sentence, Occupying Prison Ends in Annihilation, and Triggering Death Regression…
Yu Huan fell into deep thought:
When did Heng Chen recruit such an eccentric developer?
Determined to uncover the truth and driven by hope, she resolved to complete the game, embodying human resilience amid chaos.
However, the more she played, the more Yu Huan realized:
This didn’t feel like a game.
It seemed she had truly crossed worlds.
The Rainbow Ruin World was both chaotic and orderly—a highly centralized federal government ruled while conglomerates controlled all wealth, inviting curiosity about its complex nature.
The rules were simple: Submit and live, resist and die.
Awakened individuals went mad from their supernatural abilities. To obtain items that could suppress their agony, they served as the federal government’s hounds, hunting down underground organization members across the land.
The underground factions remained fragmented and distrustful—scattered sand grains groping for paths through the fog.
When an unknown nobody emerged to become the federal government’s nemesis and the conglomerates’ thorn, she also became a guiding beacon in the mist.
