Chapter 5: Not Satisfied, Once More
Chapter 5: Not Satisfied, Once More
The next day, the warm lighting in the hotel room was set to a soft glow, the scent of fir blending with the steam from a recent bath hung in the air, making even breathing feel thick and heavy.
Lu Shiyan held Xu Anhao from behind, his chin resting in the hollow of her shoulder. He began with a light kiss behind her ear, causing her to instinctively shrink back.
But he didn’t stop. His kisses trailed slowly downward, skimming over her collarbone and then to her waist.
Each touch was deliberate and lingering not a hurried claim, but more like a careful tracing of her contours.
Xu Anhao’s body was tense, her fingers clutching the sash of her bathrobe as she repeated silently to herself:
*Just get through this. Once I have that one million, Mom’s surgery will be covered.*
Lu Shiyan seemed to sense her tension and slowed his kisses even more.
His fingers gently kneaded her waist, as if to soothe her, but it only made her more uncomfortable.
In this transaction, his tenderness unnerved her more than his dominance ever could.
After what felt like an eternity, he finally rose, pulling her down with him into the soft bedding.
As they tangled together, his movements were more focused than in previous encounters.
Occasionally, he would lean close to her ear and murmur fragmented words, his voice husky but devoid of its usual teasing.
Xu Anhao kept her eyes shut, burying her face against his neck.
Her mind was filled with images of her mother in the ICU and the one-million-yuan check she was about to receive.
Finally, the movements gradually subsided.
Xu Anhao let out a sigh of relief and tried to push herself up, but Lu Shiyan suddenly pressed a hand to her shoulder, holding her in place.
His palm was scorching, still radiating heat, and his gaze, though clouded with lingering desire, held an unmistakable stubbornness:
“I’m not satisfied yet. Once more.”
Xu Anhao’s mind went blank with a buzzing sound. “I…”
Lu Shiyan cut her off, his fingers tightening as he pressed her down more firmly. His tone carried an authoritative pressure, his breath drawing closer.
“Do you still want that one million? It’s up to me. Listen to what I say.”
His words felt like a bucket of cold water, dousing every last bit of hope in Xu Anhao’s heart.
She looked into the certainty in his eyes and suddenly sobered up.
The money was still in his hands. If he refused to give it, she would get nothing.
Xu Anhao bit her lip and nodded. “Okay…”
During the second round, Xu Anhao was completely unresponsive.
She kept her eyes closed, no longer registering any sensation, merely enduring mechanically as if all strength had been drained from her body.
Lu Shiyan seemed to notice her detachment but didn’t slow his pace.
Instead, he occasionally pinched her chin, forcing her to look at him.
His eyes held a complex emotion part dissatisfaction, part something else, as if he were trying to confirm something.
When it was finally over, Lu Shiyan got up and pulled a checkbook from his suit’s inner pocket.
The scratch of the pen against paper was starkly clear in the quiet room.
“Take it.” Lu Shiyan turned and held out the filled-out check to her.
Xu Anhao pushed herself up on her sore, weak limbs and reached for it.
But just as her fingertips brushed the edge of the check, Lu Shiyan suddenly clenched his hand, gripping it tightly in his palm.
Xu Anhao instinctively tried to pull it back, but his grip was too strong the check remained firmly in his hand, unmoving.
She looked up at him, her eyes filled with confusion and urgency.
“Come back tomorrow, alright?”
Lu Shiyan leaned in extremely close, his warm breath brushing the tip of her ear with a tempting heat, his voice softening slightly.
“Two million per session, double the previous amount. Quite a bargain for you.”
Xu Anhao ignored his proposal, her gaze fixed solely on the check in his palm.
She only needed this one million. Once she gathered five million in total, she wanted nothing else.
But he held it so tightly she couldn’t snatch it away.
Seeing the probing look in Lu Shiyan’s eyes, her mind raced with calculations:
Agree to him first, get the check, and once the money was secured, she’d cut all ties.
After all, he didn’t know her name, where she lived, or which hospital her mother was in.
If she blocked him, they’d never cross paths again.
“Fine, I’ll come tomorrow.”
Xu Anhao lifted her head, trying to keep her tone calm, even slightly submissive.
Only upon hearing this did Lu Shiyan release his grip and hand her the check.
He reached out to ruffle her hair with deliberate gentleness, though his voice brimmed with triumphant control: “Good girl, baby.”
The moment she secured the check, the weight lifted from Xu Anhao’s heart.
She quickly dressed and fled the room as if escaping.
Inside the room, Lu Shiyan watched her hurried retreat, the smile at his lips deepening.
He lit a cigarette from nearby, and through the rising smoke, his eyes held a subtle possessiveness.
Exiting the hotel, the cool night breeze brushed Xu Anhao’s face, clearing her chaotic thoughts.
Walking slowly along the street, she resolved inwardly: I’m never coming back.
Five million was enough. After her mother’s surgery, she’d find a proper job and earn money gradually.
She never wanted anything to do with Lu Shiyan again.
This transaction ends here.
Xu Anhao took out her phone, found the contact saved only as “Lu” she didn’t even know his full name.
The screen still showed their sole previous conversation: his message from yesterday asking her to come to the hotel.
Taking a deep breath, she swiped across the screen, decisively tapped “Block Contact,” and deleted the call history entirely.
Having done this, she felt as if a heavy burden had been lifted, exhaling deeply in relief.
Meanwhile, in the hotel room, Lu Shiyan waited long without any message from Xu Anhao.
He picked up his phone to send “Be careful on your way,” but as he typed, a red exclamation mark blocked the sent text.
“The recipient has blocked you.”
Lu Shiyan paused briefly, then chuckled low a laugh tinged with surprise and an indescribable indulgence.
Tossing the phone back onto the bedside table, he leaned against the pillows, gazing at the ceiling as the amusement in his eyes deepened.
“Interesting.”
Lu Shiyan murmured softly, his fingers tapping lightly on the sheets in a slow, controlled rhythm, exuding absolute certainty.
But it didn’t matter.
Those he wanted to find, he always found.
This game was just beginning.
