“You mock me until the very end! But you would do well not to be arrogant! I am not being annihilated; I am merely returning to the Underworld!”

‘Right, that’s the one.’

I wiped the Demon King’s blood from my face.

“Farewell. Once you go back in, don’t crawl back out for a while.”

“I have no intention of doing so. I suspect it won’t be boring this time.”

The Demon King smiled vilely. I raised an eyebrow and asked.

“What are you plotting?”

“I had a thought. I wondered if the tedious Underworld might become interesting if I were with you.”

“With me?”

The moment I answered, a Level 2 command appeared.

[Level 2: (Firmly) Stop bluffing!]

I read it mechanically.

“Stop bluffing.”

“Is it truly a bluff? Can you not see the spirits agitated around you?”

His words were true.

Having sensed something, the spirits had been flying frantically around me for a while now.
