Synopsis
Kunlun Hospital is a well-known private hospital in the area, divided into an East Wing and a West Wing.
Ordinary people receive treatment in the East Wing, while the West Wing has supposedly been under renovation for years and is said to be unused.
One day, a patient accidentally wanders into the West Wing and discovers that it is actually full of patients—though every one of them seems rather strange.
A sign stands in the first-floor lobby:
Patients experiencing excessive shedding outside of molting season should register with the Psychiatry Department. The Cosmetic Department does not diagnose this condition!
At the reception desk, a nurse trims her nails while her fluffy tail curls around a phone as she watches variety shows.
Kunlun West Wing is home to a beautiful doctor named Hai Chui Sha, renowned throughout the non-human world for her exceptional medical skills and gentle bedside manner. Countless gods, demons, spirits, and monsters pretend to be sick just for a chance to see her.
“Doctor Hai, my tail hurts a little…”
Hai Chui Sha: “Sitting too much can injure your tail. Get up and exercise more.”
“Doctor Hai, my eyes feel dry…”
Hai Chui Sha: “Spend less time looking at your phone.”
“Doctor Hai, my chest hurts. It hurts whenever I see you…”
Hai Chui Sha: “…”
Hai Chui Sha: “Terminal illness. No cure.”

When the fox immortal Yi Guang awakens, he discovers that the world has changed.
Evil spirits and curses roam everywhere, disastrous romantic afflictions are rampant, and worst of all—
His fox shrine is gone.
In its place stands a hospital.
Yi Guang pokes Hai Chui Sha with his tail.
“You’ve occupied my shrine.”
Hai Chui Sha replies,
“You’re injured. You need to be hospitalized for treatment.”
As a result, not only does Yi Guang fail to reclaim his shrine, he also ends up owing Hai Chui Sha money.
Later…
Yi Guang wonders:
“How did she end up occupying me too?”
