Seeing the faint blush on her fair earlobes, Cen Luan wanted to tease her, but he knew there wasn’t enough time. He waited until she had finished drinking, then took her hand and led her outside.
Ye Fu didn’t dare to pull her hand away; he kept her fingers intertwined in his palm the whole way. The scene felt so unreal that it gave her a subtle sense of dizziness.
Once they arrived at the set, Cen Luan went to find Director Xu, leaving Ye Fu to sit alone in a chair, reading the script and silently memorizing her lines.
Next, the two had a passionate scene on the sofa, but they didn’t finish it before the police arrived.
Monkey, harboring a deep grudge against Yu Chibei for having his manhood crippled, had fled to another city and used a payphone to call the police.
Song Yu was back. The other “robbers” had wrapped up their scenes last night, so the whole group went out for a drink to celebrate. As minor supporting characters, they naturally couldn’t afford to invite a big star like the Best Actor.
But he never expected that on his way back to the hotel, he’d spot Ye Fu’s car in the underground parking garage.
As he approached, he heard moans coming from inside the car.
The sound made him hard on the spot.
It was the same as the sounds he’d heard during filming, yet somehow different.
Last night’s moans held not a trace of restraint—they were both coy and wanton, tinged with a whimper. That faint, fragile sob sent a rush of blood to his head.
He’d thought the Best Actor was some kind of upstanding gentleman, but it turned out he’d quietly dragged her into the car and started fucking her.
Song Yu instantly lost that aloof filter he’d had toward the Best Actor—they were both just animals driven by their lower halves.
However, he wasn’t sure whether the Movie Emperor had made the first move or if Ye Fu had seduced him.
Everyone knows that despite all these years of acting and countless rumors, there’s never been a single piece of concrete evidence against him.
He’s famous for keeping himself above the fray.
Ye Fu, on the other hand, is a minor actress—nothing more than a pretty face with a good figure—who’d do anything for a role. Perhaps she’d already hooked up with the Best Actor back during the initial audition.
Otherwise, how could there be rumors that the leading actor had gone out of his way to create scenes for her?
Whether true or not, Song Yu wanted to test the waters and see if Ye Fu was genuinely innocent or just pretending to be.
“It’s my birthday tonight. Want to grab dinner together?”
Ye Fu looked up and saw it was Song Yu; she nervously pursed her lips.
She seemed to have seen him… in the car last night.
At the time, Song Yu… had been standing outside the car, masturbating while listening to her screams.
Ye Fu’s mind was still fogged with alcohol back then; her consciousness was hazy. She’d only seen a figure standing outside the window, pressing against it with each thrust, and all she could make out were the sneakers on his feet.
Exactly the same pair Song Yu was wearing right now.
She hadn’t really disliked Song Yu before. She knew he played a villain, but she hadn’t let the role make her hate him. However, after seeing this man’s other side last night, she just couldn’t bring herself to like the person standing in front of her.
“I’ll invite the Best Actor to come along,” Song Yu said with a smile. “It’s a rare opportunity for us all to be filming together—you won’t turn me down, will you?”
With him saying that, refusing now would make her seem overly stubborn.
Ye Fu pressed her lips together and, steeled with resolve, managed to say, “Okay.”
When Cen Luan arrived, he saw Song Yu exchange a few words with Ye Fu before walking away with a smile. His eyes darkened slightly. He took a few steps forward, about to speak, when Director Xu called the script supervisor over to clap the clapperboard.
He said nothing more, but gave Ye Fu a deep look. Feeling inexplicably unsettled by his gaze, she merely gave him a faint smile before quickly getting into character as the clapperboard fell.
